Jana Olenio, Owner and Instructor, teaches a Vinyasa Flow style of yoga on the mat and Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga on the water. Jana began practicing yoga in 2004 with the hope to reduce stress and anxiety. She began teaching in 2009 after yoga positively transformed and healed her life far beyond her expectations. Her goal is to help others heal themselves by bringing the gift of yoga into the lives of each student.
In March 2012, Jana took her yoga practice to the water and became a certified Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga Teacher. She started SUP YO in May 2012 in the Boston area where she teaches students how to practice yoga on a paddleboard. Today, Jana teaches SUP Yoga from May to September throughout Boston & NH. The combination of yoga in nature along with the added fitness challenge makes the paddleboard the perfect place to practice!
In the off-season, Jana continues to inspire others to get outside by leading winter retreats in New England that combine yoga with an outdoor activity and destination retreats and certified teacher trainings worldwide.

Leah Pacione graduated from Suffolk University in 2004 and immediately started working in marketing even though her passion was to be a teacher. After having her first child, she began substitute teaching. After the birth of her second child, she began practicing yoga for stress relief.
Yoga was instant love and became an essential part of her life. Looking for a way to share her passion for teaching with her love of yoga to include her family, she began teaching Expressive Yoga Dance in 2013. In February 2014, Leah completed her 200 hour YTT (Yoga Teacher Training) at Kripalu School of Yoga. Leah took her yoga practice on the water and became certified in Stand Up Paddle board (SUP) Yoga in May of 2014. Always looking for ways to supplement the SUP Yoga experience, Leah completed her Aerial Yoga Teacher Training with Kama Fitness in February of 2016.Leah believes in yoga for all – anytime, anywhere! She incorporates essential oils into her classes, customizes her own kids and special ed student yoga program, and creates and facilitates AromaYoga, Chakra Essential Oil and Breathing and Mindfulness for Teachers Workshops. But most of all, Leah enjoys going with the flow while on the SUP!

Stephanie Ward is a 200 hour Certified Yoga Instructor and graduate from Core Power Yoga. Stephanie began as a student at Core Power Yoga in 2014 and immediately felt at home in their studio. This was around the same time she was searching for a way to compliment her marathon training, and, yoga and running seemed to be a perfect combination. Stephanie continued to take yoga classes and eventually signed up for their fall yoga teacher training program in the year 2015. She graduated in 2015 and then went on to continue with an extension program in extensive sculpt training.
Stephanie took her first SUP Yoga class in 2013. Taking her love of the water, yoga and combining both with Stand Up Paddleboarding seemed like the perfect fit when an opportunity was presented by SUP YO last summer. Stephanie joins SUP YO for her second year of teaching on the water in Boston and Medford. When she is not teaching SUP Yoga, she is practicing Yoga, spinning and also volunteering as a swim coach at the Boys & Girls Club of Charlestown.

Leslie Brebner has been practicing yoga for more than 6 years and teaching for 2 years. Two and a half years ago, Leslie set a goal for herself of teaching SUP Yoga and leading an international retreat with SUP YO. This is the year that dream came true! Leslie is returning for her second season with SUP YO, teaching on the water in Amesbury, Chelmsford and Wakefield. She completed her Wilderness First Aid (WFA) certification last fall and will be leading SUP YO’s Back to Earth Retreats along with the monthly Yoga Hikes in the Whites this summer. The combination of the outdoors, hiking & yoga is truly the perfect balance and is where Leslie enjoys being the most.
Leslie had the chance to co-lead SUP YO’s Epic Patagonia Retreat in March and will be returning to Patagonia to lead this retreat in 2020! She is also returning to Croatia for her 4th consecutive year! Leslie enjoys sharing her passions with others and looks forward to meeting you on the trail, on the water or on a retreat this year!

Ally Marsh was introduced to yoga while an undergrad in Vermont. She eventually settled in Boston and began professional training which culminated in a Master’s level licensed mental health counselor specializing in expressive therapies. She began using art, music and movement to aid others through mental health difficulties and found the integral benefits of yoga for her own self care as well as for the benefit of others. Yoga is the perfect balance for connection to the mind, body, and mindful awareness of that relationship. She was further inspired to expand her yogic path while working on a women’s mental health unit and took a leave to become trained as a 200-RYT, certified in Vinyasa Flow Yoga. The training in Costa Rica under the teachings of Jacqueline Heisle, incorporated the physical, emotional, and combined whole self approach to self improvement. Ally was introduced to SUP yoga while attending a Yoga Festival in 2012 and was forever inspired to experience SUP yoga locally and internationally. She is excited to share her love of incorporating the senses within nature (sound, scent, and sight) along with the movement, breath and intension of yoga off the mat. She creates a setting of nourishing comfort balanced with challenge and encourages students to set a heartfelt intention and then allow yoga to literally “float” to that space.

Elyse Mickalonis grew up in upstate New York with a love for animals, cooking and bonfires.
Elyse earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the State University of New York at Purchase College and Master’s Degree from New York University. In 2012, Elyse began her yoga journey in Johnson City, NY as a student at Yoga Body Shop, a Baptiste Affiliate Studio. There, she took gentle hot yoga and hot vinyasa classes, as well as assist and align workshops. She also completed Baron Baptiste’s 40 Days to Personal Revolution.
In 2015, Elyse received her 240 hour yoga certification and began teaching classes at Free Spirits Yoga in Greensboro, NC. Soon after, she lead classes at The Breathing Room in Winston-Salem, NC. Elyse started teaching private in-person and virtual yoga classes for those who did not feel comfortable in group settings in 2016. She now teaches group studio classes and private yoga classes in Cambridge, Somerville and Winchester. Elyse received Reiki I Certification in the summer of 2018 from Free Spirits Yoga and during February of 2019, her WPA Class 1 Certification for Stand Up Paddle Boarding as well as Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga Certification from Island Yoga in Aruba. Later that month, she became a doTERRA Wellness Advocate.
After a health scare in 2012, Elyse began seeing the value in living in the present and letting go of what we can’t control. Elyse aims to help others discover more about themselves, to shed daily stress, embrace joy and find strength in meditation, yoga and plant medicine.

Overall health and wellness have always been a passion for Amy Williams. Amy dove into her own yoga practice while in graduate school for Counseling Psychology, where she discovered how beneficial yoga was in maintaining her own wellbeing. After completing her Master’s degree, Amy hopped right into bCalm Power Yoga’s 200 hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training program in Hopkinton, fulfilling a longtime goal of pursuing a career related to both mental and physical health and wellness.
Amy found the physical yoga practice a way to reconnect the mind with the body, helping to be more present and move fluidly both on and off the mat. Amy led an active lifestyle from a young age, starting with ballet as a child. Following her first yoga teacher training, Amy completed two BarSculpt trainings, allowing her to connect with her roots and diversify her teaching to both yoga and barre. Amy went on to complete Unstoppable: Yoga for Youth Training Program and most recently, SUP YO teacher training, with the goal of uniting her love of nature and yoga through teaching SUP Yoga in the warmer New England weather. Off the mat, Amy works full time as a mental health therapist. Kerri Domohowski is an avid hiker and firm believer in the #yogaeverydamnday movement. Participating in three sports in high school, as well as being a DII soccer player, Kerri has been an athlete all her life. She is no stranger to the endorphins felt from getting her body moving. However, in 2010, as recommended by her orthopedic to help “stretch,” Kerri found yoga— but really found much more. The mental clarity, the calmness, and the connection between mind, body and breath was life-changing. The saying that “yoga is really what happens off the mat” could not be more true. She found herself slowing down, becoming more patient and aware and just more present and mindful. Winter in New England, with its dark days and cold temperatures, seemed less stifling with a consistent yoga practice. Currently Kerri is full-time Wellness Teacher and loves incorporating yoga, meditation, and mindfulness with her high school students. Her styles can be vinyasa flows emphasizing strength as well as body and breath connection, or gentle flows with a more restorative energy. Whatever they may be; her hope is that students will walk away feeling better physically, mentally, and emotionally and able to transfer that energy off their mat and into their lives.

Janice Lewando is a Paramedical Examiner and Clinical Research Assistant as well as a 200 hour Registered Yoga Instructor and graduate from Open Doors Hot Power Yoga Teacher Training program. Janice began practicing yoga over 15 years ago as an addition to her exercise regimen that, along with yoga, included weight training, running and ice dancing/skating. After a diagnoses with arthritis and Fibromyalgia, she let go of all other exercise regimens EXCEPT yoga, which helps with the pain and keeps her free from relying on prescriptive remedies. When she fell in love with Stand Up Paddle boarding several years ago, she decided that yoga and her board were a match made in heaven! Janice went on to become yoga teacher in 2017, immediately following her 200 hour training, she jumped onboard and received her stand up paddleboard yoga teacher training certificate from SUP YO. Janice loves yoga, the outdoors and being on the water. The combination of the three are an amazing trio of inner peace, strength and passion.

Molly Gring is a retired Elementary School Teacher and has been a resident of North Andover
since 1990. She began her yoga journey in 2011 and was immediately hooked on it! She
began to notice that yoga was far more than just a physical practice. It helped to improve her
mind, body and spirit! In 2013 Molly discovered Paddleboard Yoga!!! The heightened
awareness of balance and total mind/body/board connection awakened her to the the core! To
hear the sounds of summer an inspiration! In June 2016 Molly graduated from Yoga Alliance
Accredited 200 hour Teacher Training. She immediately began teaching yoga in the studios
and on the paddleboard. In 2018 Molly also began teaching Garden Yoga. Being in nature,
breathing the fresh air, feeling the sun and breeze on the skin, hearing the sounds of birds,
waves, wind, motorcycles, dogs barking, people on the beaches…. Joyful sounds of summer
are inspirations to Molly. She is excited to share her passion of paddleboard yoga with you!
