Try Yoga on a Stand Up Paddleboard without ever actually getting your feet wet!

This is a great way to “test out the waters” and try yoga on a Stand Up Paddleboard before actually hitting the water next summer. For those of you that already have a SUP Yoga practice under your belt, continue challenging your practice off the water this winter with our indoor classes!

Join us inside Brewery Silvaticus for a 60 minute SUP Yoga class and celebrate your workout with your choice of 1 craft beer following class. Yoga poses will be practiced on-board a Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP). The SUP is then balanced on two (2) stability cushions to increase instability and challenge your practice. This is not your average yoga class and is sure to challenge you while having FUN!

    Class will be taught by SUP YO owner and founder, Jana Olenio.

Teacher Bio: Jana Olenio, SUP YO Owner & Instructor, teaches a Vinyasa Flow style of yoga on the mat and Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga on the water. Jana began practicing yoga in 2004 with the hope to reduce stress and anxiety. She began teaching in 2009 after yoga positively transformed and healed her life far beyond her expectations. Her goal is to help others heal themselves by bringing the gift of yoga into the lives of each student.

In March 2012, Jana took her yoga practice to the water and became a certified Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga Teacher. She started SUP YO in May 2012 in the Boston area where she teaches students how to practice yoga on a paddleboard. Today, Jana teaches SUP Yoga from May to September throughout Boston & NH. The combination of yoga in nature along with the added fitness challenge makes the paddleboard the perfect place to practice!

In the off-season, Jana continues to inspire others to get outside by leading local retreats throughout New England that combine yoga with outdoor activities and international retreats worldwide through YOLO Adventure Retreats. Jana also teaches a certified SUP YTT course.
